My senior thesis, “‘Accio, Author!’: The Convergence and Dispersal of Authorships in the ‘Harry Potter’ Franchise,” earned recognition from both the Glynn Family Honors Program and the Department of Film, Television and Theatre (FTT). Dr. Jim Collins directed the project, and it was submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements of the Honors Program and FTT.
The video below walks through the main arguments of my thesis with images and slides to illustrate key points. I narrate the video with an abridged version of my paper.

The directors of the Honors Program named my thesis as one of five top projects from the approximately 100 Glynn students in the College of Arts & Letters and the College of Science. I presented my work at the program’s year-end colloquium that highlighted these five theses.
Honors FTT Designation
I defended my thesis to the FTT department chair and honors committee, who unanimously voted to award my work the honors designation.
