Dear friends and family,

I am delighted and anxious to let you know that I have begun training for the Memphis St. Jude Marathon, taking place December 1 in my hometown. The course is new this year, but my goal is not: last year, you helped me raise $1,500, and this year, I will accept nothing less for these incredible kids, their families and their doctors. St. Jude is the leading childhood cancer research and care facility in the world, and donations go unbelievably far in supporting the organization’s ambitious mission.
