As the Page Program’s Social Media Branding Co-Manager from August to December 2016, I worked on a team of four to plan, design and implement social media strategies. In particular, I focused on recruitment tactics to strengthen relationships with colleges and universities. I compiled the Program’s list of career center contacts and implemented the first-ever live Twitter Q&A using forums like TweetChat to moderate and engage the conversation. As a team, we collaborated with the West Coast Page Program to answer about a question a minute for an hour.
We also introduced a day-in-the-life event to showcase the daily responsibilities of an Ambassador page, including giving tours and facilitating audience load-in for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Late Night with Seth Meyers. I appear in a few of the featured images! Overall, we boosted interaction with our content by 200%.
As part of our full-press recruiting effort for the February 2017 application season, I designed several images advertising the availability and deadlines of the application.
I also redesigned our “Turning the Page” feature template and conducted several interviews to prepare posts for use on Twitter and Instagram.
Finally, I maintained connections with my own Career Center at Notre Dame and encouraged features on my cohort through Twitter posts and personal photographs.
