High School Musical Theatre Awards (May 2012)
I interned at The Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, Tenn. as Director of Social Media for the High School Musical Theatre Awards. I focused on featuring individual students and schools to treat their work professionally and give them the full awards-show experience.
I utilized Instagram to spotlight the work of individual performers as well as schools and behind-the-scenes workers. Through frequent Instagram posts featuring students, I increased interaction and participation across social media platforms with audience members, fans and performers.
I posted live updates of award winners as well as pictures and Vines of all rehearsals and red-carpet events.
